Laser Engraving
Laser engraving is the process of engraving or marking an object using a precisely guided laser beam controlled by a computer. We can laser engrave a wide variety of materials and surfaces, including wood, aluminum, brass, chrome, stone, and plastics.
Rotary Engraving
Rotary engraving is the more widely known type of engraving. A sharp stylus is rotated at high speed and then pressed against the surface to be engraved. A computer program controls the location of the engraving tip..
Screen Printing
We screen print acrylics, name badges, plaques, dash plaques and much more. We can screen print your logo on a 2" disc and attach it to most of our products.
Commercial Engraving
We engrave and mark products for machine shops and industry. Please contact us for a quotation.
Sand Carving
Sand carving, also known as sand blasting, is the process of blasting fine granules at high pressure toward an object. The unmasked artwork area becomes frosted in appearance. This technique is most commonly used on glass and crystal.
Acrylic Embedments
Embedments are a creative way to display items by suspending them in clear plastic. We can screen print and/or engrave text and images on your embedment.
They make for great milestone markers and recognition awards.

Font Selections
Here is a list on the most common fonts we use. However we highly suggest that you let our expert engravers pick the fonts for you. Too many fonts don't look good together and one font on a plaque looks rather plain and boring. Our engravers can manipulate text, fonts, logos, flourishes and other designs to make you a truly personalized plaque. However if there is a particular font or look to the plaque that you would like us to use please feel free to let us know.

We have thousands of stock logos available for your engraving needs, for both business and general use.
Artwork Submission Guidelines
We recommend that all digital artwork files be attached to an email message and sent to: sales@EngravingAwardsGifts.com. Files above 10mb will not be accepted by our email.
Please include the following on all artwork submissions:
- Company/Organization information (if applicable)
- Contact name
- Phone number
- Name of EAG salesperson you are working with
Types of Digital Artwork-
Vector Artwork - Images that have their information stored geometrically and can be easily scaled to any size without loss of quality. Generally produced with
graphics applications such as Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator.
Raster Artwork - Images that have their information stored as pixels or dots and
do not scale well without a loss of quality (jagged, stair stepped edges etc.).
Generally produced by digital cameras, scanners and painting
applications such as Corel Photo Paint and Adobe Photoshop.
Artwork in vector format is preferred. Artwork should be submitted without
gray scales, halftones or color unless being used for color reproduction.
If your artwork contains specific fonts that are to be reproduced, it should be
converted to curves (Corel) or outlines (Adobe) before being submitted.
Acceptable Storage Media-
If a file cannot be sent via email here are some options for sending us your artwork:
- IBM Formatted 3.5" Diskette
- IBM Formatted CD
- USB Memory Key
Acceptable PC File Formats-
Here is the list of file formats that we can use in order of preference:
*Note- If artwork is to be screen printed we would like it to be color separated.
Vector Formats:
- .cdr (Corel Draw)
- .eps (Encapsulated Postscript)
- .ai (Adobe Illustrator)
Raster Formats:
- .tif (TIFF Bitmap)
- .jpg
- .gif
Alternative Artwork Forms-
Although EAG prefers digital art, we recognize that it is not always possible.
The following can be used in black & white or color:

- Business Cards
- Photos
- Patches
- Faxes are the lowest quality form of artwork. We prefer not to use them.
